My comments on tutoring Vocals : I have been a vocalist for most of my life. I have been a part of a number of recordings and love to work with individual singers and choirs. I have had a well rounded career as a business professional and musician. As an information technology professional, I have worked with more software and tools than this space would allow me to catalog. As a senior manager and Chief Information Officer, I have worked to gain an understanding of the businesses processes and implemented beneficial solutions. I love to mentor\tutor and enjoy watching my students grow. I have been a musician for most of my life and have been a part of several professional CD projects. A Little Bit About Me...

I have enjoyed teaching children since an early age. In high school, I started my own dance studio. I also began piano lessons in my home as well. During college i studied piano, voice and dance and continued teaching in these areas. I love helping others succeed and seeing them accomplish their goals.

My comments on tutoring Vocals : I can teach beginner though intermediate.

I believe that anyone can learn regardless of age. I teach from the Thompson series with additional books in Theory. I also use other books other than the series to give experience in the different genres. A brief History of Music is introduced.
I opened my own studio in 2003. I teach children through adults on piano, keyboard, flute and voice. I graduated in 2011 with a BA in Music with a minor in Art History. I have gone to workshops with Musikgarten. In 2012 my son graduated from University of Md- Baltimore county with a BA in Music and joined my studio. He teaches violin, viola, steel drum and drums.

I graduated from high school as number eleven in rank out of 248. I often assisted other students in both high school and college. Later, as a homeschooling mother of four, I taught all of my children all subjects through the eighth grade level. I just returned from the island of Saipan, where I taught high school English in a private school, and seventh grade English in a public school. I presently am a certified substitute teacher in the Cumberland County, PA, public school system, where I teach almost all grade levels and subjects.
