My approach to composition is simple; think, write, repeat. This means that I use a process-oriented method as students draft and re-draft based upon the new ideas and insights which are gained through the practice of writing. I also employ post-process pedagogy, encouraging student participation in the world around them. I want them to engage with the private and public spheres. My goal for my students is to think about how ideas are intertwined across the disciplines and how the critical thinking skills learned in one course can work with the theoretical skills they learn in another. I am a graduate of the College of Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati. However, my career search and passion for providing students with the tools of academic success, has led me into the field of education.
