Formal classroom as well as tutoring informally
25 years teaching English and ESL in Hong Kong, China and the U.S. I taught instrumental music for two years in high schools in the states, then ESL in Hong Kong middle schools; then about 15 years in Chinese universities. Then I returned to teach as an adjunct at Ivy Tech in academic english in Muncie, Indiana. I have taught reading, writing, TOEFL prep at at least 5 different Chinese universities.

I truly enjoy working with children! It gives me great worth and value in enriching the lives of the children I come in contact with. I have taught Spanish and English in the high school setting since 1996. I have also taught ESL/ ESOL at homes, in schools, and for private organizations during that time and have had students from ages 6 - 66 from many different countries and at a variety of knowledge levels. I have taught Spanish at the middle school level as well.
