A Little Bit About Me...

I am a euthastic teacher, I love to teach and learn and my taching style incorporates Gardner's multiple intelligences and Bloom's Taxomomy. I have also taken several Special Education classes, so my leason are adaptive and flexible, using different medium to convey information. Every student learns differently and I try to do my best to learn and apply my education to help in the learning process. I am very enegeric in the classroom, and use a storytelling approach with metaphors and modern euphuisms to keep my students attention. I have several years experience working with children and adults in the education field. The students I have taught at the college level ranged from late teens to early 30s. As I have worked with such a wide range of ages I am familiar with the needs of students in each age group I have taught. I work with the student to understand the areas in which they are not as strong or confident and work with them to develop a method of studying and learning that works best for them. I believe that one of the most beneficial methods of learning material is to relate the material to something the student may be more familiar with or something with which they can relate.
