My comments on tutoring Chemistry : I received my BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry with honors in 2010. I have taken and received A's in 2 inorganic classes, 2 organic classes. I have taken and received high marks in biochemistry.

I have tutored one-on-one as well as to large groups. My focus is on college level science classes. A Little Bit About Me...

My high school Chemistry instructor had a profound impact on me. Although the subject was a difficult one, his passion for it was so infectious that, by the end of my junior year, I WANTED to be a chemist. I went on to attain Chemistry degrees from Long Island University (BS) and the University of Maine (MS with thesis). I subsequently enjoyed a 28-year career at Kodak in such diverse Chemistry-related fields as lithium batteries, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostic imaging. I obtained my degree with Highest Honors, and an overall GPA of 3.88. I graded mostly college algebra and early calculus. I was required to do the same homework and quizzes the students did, and create answer keys. Then, I would go through each problem and either give full credit for a correct answer and work, or partial credit if needed.
