Calculus II is one of my top subjects!

A Little Bit About Me...

I always find myself trying to lead others to figure out material on their own as a I set guidelines for them as they do so. I believe this is the best way for them to learn the material. I do not like to tell my students the answers, inhibiting them from thinking things through. I try to find different ways of teaching material in order to keep them motivated, as well.
I am a recent graduate of kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. The method of teaching I prefer is maieutic, i.e., one which draws knowledge from the student, rather than attempts to place it in him/her from without. To me, the process of asking questions and allowing the student's curiosity and intelligence to reach conclusions is far more effective than one-sided lecturing. I have so many different experiences with my students. I have met different personalities and I came to the conclusion that each student have their own unique way of learning. I have to figure out what it is and that is the method I use to teach them.
In my senior year in College, I decided to start putting out Flyers for private tutoring because I noticed how much I love to help my friends with their Math Courses.
