I also have practical experience working with organic chemicals and polymers because I was employed in the manufacturing sector for over 30 years. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is a combination of serious, in-depth theory and practical examples to demonstrate such theories, all with a hint of humor, followed by significant practice of the newly learned skills. I've been "teaching" people all of my business career. I always start with the underlying theory and immediately segue into a practical example of how the principles work. I think students want to learn, but need the information presented in a way that makes learning interesting, not boring. I have that ability. I'm able to integrate relevant practical examples because I have a very broad range of experience, having been an entrepreneur and turnaround management consultant for over 40 years.

A Little Bit About Me...

Math and science did not always come easy to me as a student, so I know how frustrating it can be for someone to struggle in school. As a tutor, I work hard to give my students the confidence they need to succeed in and outside of the classroom. I find that it helps when students understand why the concept they’re working on is important and what it can actually be used for out in the real world. I have a BS in mechanical and materials Engr from the university of conneccticut. I have masters in science management, MBA and project management.
