I was a tutor for students with disabilities for EPCC. Had a vast experience at EPCC because I would tutor Math, Writing, history and gave classes for effective note taking techniques. Did volunteer adult classes for ESL in Nashville, TN for a group of 5 or more adults per class. ESL classes included basic writing, reading and speaking English.

I graduated in 1999 from NMSU with a degree in Elem/Spec Education. While attending school, I worked in a group home for troubled teens and at a facility for adults with disabilities. But my desire to teach children led me to tutoring at a private non-profit school for K-12. I worked there two years before starting to work at a facility for troubled youth. My teaching style is to make learning fun. I like to bring materials to the lesson that match a student's interest and still build necessary skills. A Little Bit About Me...
