Learn from the basics

I have taught several students in India, and I am quite properly understand the knowledge and the background required to teach subjects. I was myself a college topper and a school gold medalist. Hence I can teach and inculcate the knowledge of teaching in students. Learning maths and science is something very elementary if understood from the basics and in-depth. Thus it is very important that a student should learn, read and write all in-depth. This learning curve is something that I have tried to develop in myself from years to come and hope to imbibe the knowledge of it in several other students. I had got 167/170 in my GRE thus the basics of my maths is quite strong. I have even taught several students in India about how to crack this exam and helped several for cracking this exam too. I hope to help many more of the students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have two types of degrees, one in Physics and two in Engineering. That enabled me to teach a wide range of subjects. I was a very popular teacher in the four universities in Baghdad. Some of my students are now professors at the US universities.
My teaching style is to make the subject easy for the comprehension of the students. I normally give homeworks. Students must do these homeworks. I judge their understanding from the way they solve the homeworks.

More About This Tutor...

I tutored in the learning center at Valencia community college for one year. Through this work and my education classes I have learned to work with each student as an individual, all students learn differently. I adapt my tutoring style to the student. I like to ask questions to lead them to an answer and use positive reinforcement as much as I can. While I do want my students to learn the material and concepts I also want them to learn study habits and become independent learners. I'm a chemical engineer and tutor with a strong interest in education. My background includes extensive tutoring and mentoring experience over the last 8 years. I am motivated and patient with students who have trouble grasping mathematical concepts. I have worked with diverse groups of students ranging from third grade to high school and college students.
