I have learned as a father of a home schooler that children learn in different ways. Some subjects hold more interest and are easier to learn. When students need to learn subjects that they do not find so interesting, creative ways must be used to make the class interesting. I especially enjoy finding and putting into practice those ways that will help a child to learn such as a rewards system, learning by touching and doing, and other things that will make the class interesting. Interested students are motivated to learn.
For the past ten years I have worked in central Mexico. My responsibilities there included learning Spanish and teaching by lecturing, classes, home studies, and children's clubs.
