I have written one government text, several chapters of high school history texts, and economics teacher materials while working for Glencoe/ McGraw-Hill publishing. I want you to be successful in learning!

My teaching style is mainly dependant on the person that I am tutoring. If a student needs to take a slower process to learn than I am adaptable to that. The same is true for someone who has a little faster pace. I am flexible.

As a teacher, classroom experiences have made me realize all students do not learn the same fashion. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies. I prefer not to embarrass those students but give them the opportunity to learn one-on-one. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with children. I especially love teaching them about science and mathematics because I find these subjects so interesting. My love of the French language led me to pursue my BA specializing in the language and culture in college. After college I immediately traveled to France on a very generous scholarship from Rotary Foundation. This permitted me to live and study at a very old and prestigious university in Poitiers, France. I also tutored the children of my host family in English to earn a bit of extra money for traveling. I learned Spanish while in the Army for the purpose of intelligence gathering.
