My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I have a BA in Education with a minor in Social Studies.

I am a retired teacher with over 38 years of teaching both children and adults with diverse backgrounds. I have a BA and Masters degree in Education with an endorsement in ESL/Bilingual Education. I was a reading coach for 8 years where I taught teachers the best practices in teaching reading. I have taught every grade level and including college level. The last 4 years I have taught international students in an intensive English language program at a college level. My passion is teaching and want my students to be successful in whatever endeavors they take on in life.
I am passionate about teaching and have the patience, care and respect for all my students. I allow them to tell me their learning style that works best for them so they can be successful in their learning.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have had many experiences in education both during and after my college education. I have been put into many situations that have required using much of the curriculum content, classroom management, and lesson plan developing skills that I have acquired. I have a major in science, but I also have extensive mathematical skills due to the many math classes I have taken for my BS and while currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Accounting.
