I have a high level of experience teaching in multiple fields. I have trained horses, which takes non-verbal communication, patience, kindness, clear directions, and strong leadership skills. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked for a program called CalSoap (College Knowledge). The program had us working in classrooms, at a local highschool, helping the teachers with tutoring the students. I worked in an algebra 2 and geometry class as well as did lunch and after school tutoring. I also tutored 1st graders when I was in 6th grade in reading skills.
I love being able to help children better understand their material. That is the best part of being a tutor or teacher because you get to see the light bulb finally go off when the child understands it and the joy they feel. When I tutor I do not just give the child the answer I constantly ask them what they think the next step is or how they would go about starting the problem. I graduated from university in the top 2% of my graduating class, then went on to earn a masters in Comparative Literature. The Pennsylvania State University awarded my a graduate teaching fellowship for the duration of my masters studies.
