I'm here to help!

I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. I have also received a Masters of Public Health Degree in Epidemiology, and have since completed my 2nd year of medical school. I have always had a strong affinity for math and english as well. I have a published thesis paper that was constructed and presented as required for my masters curriculum. I have been tutoring since I was in high school, and have tutored elementary to college level courses.
I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. I am in my senior year of college and will be graduating in May 2011. I have taken an variety of chemistry and biology courses. Chemistry course I have taken include general chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry. Biology course include general biology, microbiology, and genetics. In addition, I have conducted research and helped other students with chemistry.
I love helping others. It is a good way to share the knowledge I have obtained. I am patient and very easy to get along with. I do not judge others and am willing to help no matter how long it will take to allow someone to get the understanding that they need becuase everyone learns at the same pace. Also, I am very adaptive and can show others how to workout problems in a variety of ways.
