I was a tutor for 2 years in Korea and I love to see student's improvement. I took AP Microeconomics and Macro Economics in 2007 and I got 5 on both test. I took SAT Subject math2 and I made 780 on the test. I made 2010 out of 2400 on SAT1. I went to Georgia Southern University for a year as joint enrollment program. I graduated Statesboro High School in 2012 and now I’m going to college in New York. As a recipient of an Associates Degree Summa Cum Laude; I have and more importantly my students have experienced success within and outside of the classroom. Twenty-one out of twenty-four 4th graders under my tutelage increased MAP scores by over 20 points on average when the objective was just for 8 points. My proficiency in instructing in reading, writing, English Language Arts, and comprehension led to me being entrusted with conducting an enrichment program at my school over 1,300 students that led to me receiving 2 awards of Excellence of Service Award and Paraprofessional of the Month. I believe ever child has his or her own level of learning. That level can be intrapersonal, interpersonal, visual,etc. Every child must be worked with and not looked over. Not every child learns at the same pace. I am a believer in giving every child a chance. We as educators must find out what level of learning the child is on in order to assist the child's learning needs. If we fail to assess those needs, we have failed the child.
