I went on to receive a Masters in Biomedical Science from UMDNJ where I also worked in the Radiation Research Laboratory exploring the Bystander effect of cells exposed to radiation therapy. I went on to explore veterinary medicine working in the Emergency Room of a 24 hour veterinary specialty hospital.
I believe that breaking down complex processes is key to understanding any aspect of Science. Pathways and processes become easier to grasp when broken down to smaller components. I would define my teaching style as hands on. If I can find a real life example of the material at hand, I will use it. I love to work on whiteboards/ chalkboards with students. This way they are out of their seat and showing me what they know. I am very willing to bend to any style of learning. Playing games, creating flashcards, repetitive drilling of information.
