Praxis Exam is one of my top subjects! Have successfully passed various praxis testing; Have tutored my daughter whom has passed the 1st time on her PA testing for teaching.

I believe in teaching to the student and making the subject matter relevant and easy to comprehend. I encourage dialogue an debate in order to fully engage all of my students.
I have been working with the education field for 13 years. I have primarily worked in special education which has given the unique experience o teaching or co-teaching all subject areas. I am currently the special education coordinator a charter school in Philadelphia. Prior to working in Philadelphia, I taught social studies, math, English and GED preparation for adults. A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with all children. I believe that every child has the potential to learn and I try very hard to find out what works for the individual learner. I am patient, easy-going, but I expect my students to set goals and put forth the effort required to meet them. I tend to take a constructivist approach to learning and like to draw on my students prior knowledge and experiences as well as their interests. I also am a firm believer in planning lessons that require higher order thinking skills yet do not become overwhelming. I have always been intrigued by mathematics especially it’s connection and explanations for various fields of science. By teaching my students the foundations of math I have grown to enjoy and appreciate it even more. I look forward to extending my skills I gained in completing my Masters Degree in Classroom Technology into my 7th and 9th grade classes at Boyertown Junior High West where I have been teaching for three years.
