I've been teaching for about 7 years in high school, both in the public and private sector. I taught for 5 years at Vashon High School and 1 year at Incarnate Word Academy. Subjects were Biology related in both settings. While teaching there I recieved my certification as well as a Master's degree in Education from UMSL. Before being downsized at IWA, I received my Master's in Biology from Washington University. This past spring semester I taught both major and non-major Biology, a full time overload schedule at East Central College in Rolla, MO. I currently teach at St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, anatomy and physiology I, lab and lecture. I am also part time at Torah middle school in Olivette, MO.

As a supplemental Instructor/tutor at UMSL Department of Biology, I facilitate the learning process by explaining concepts and encouraging open communication with students.
