As a teacher's-assistant for children ages 4-6 I have been able to gain experience working with them one on one and in whole groups for almost two years. This has taught me the value of identifying with the child's unique learning needs in order to encourage and drive their academic success. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures with an emphashis on French at Washington State University. At the same institution, I was a volunteer tutor. Between August 2007 and May 2009 I was a tutor for individuals getting their High school diplomas. I volunteered to tutor at the High School Equivalency Program(HEP) at Washington State University.
