In 2004, I graduated from the University of Virginia majoring in Psychology and Studio Art. While there I tutored at Miller School (a private 6-12 institution). I worked with two Korean ESL students who especially needed help in reading and composition. Their parents invited me to Korea for five weeks in the summer of 2003 to continue working with them. Upon my return, I continued to help them in their studies until I graduated. In 2004 I was hired at Futures High School, a private California school grades 7-12 with personalized instruction.
