I have two different teaching styles depending on whether I am in a preschool setting or middle school type setting. I enjoy a very positive an inviting atmosphere where my students are comfortable while creating a community of learners. I have a strong sense of authority that is initially established, coming from such a young age. I do not expect any more from one student than I would another. Difference through learners is the most beneficial way a teacher can bring change in the classroom. I feel that it is essential to teach my students that it is acceptable to agree to disagree.
During my Junior year of high school I began to works as an Associate/Substitute preschool teacher for the Park Hill School District in Parkville, MO.
