As an education major at Berea College, I volunteered my services as a tutor three nights a week in addition to my student teaching and education courses. Some learn by seeing it. They have to see it and then maybe write it and learn by visualizing. Some learn by listening. They can listen to a lecture and hang on to every word. I understand that all children are different, and therefore lessons have to be taylored to fit each child's learning needs. I love children and enjoy teaching. I have worked with children the majority of my teen and adult life. I was a camp counselor where I was around them for a week and that's where my love for wanting to teach began.
