I believe that all people have the capability to learn. It is the job of the educator to nurture that capability. Each pupil is different and as a teacher, it is my duty to recognize the potential of a student and individualize my approach to reach that particular student. Learning should be interesting and innovative. A lesson should captivate the student and draw him into the subject matter. My job is to present a child with the opportunity to learn. As a graduate of an all girls private school (Peace College) in Raleigh NC, I have become a true leader in the female world. I have always been driven to make a mark in this world by setting by example. I have earned a BA in Communications, specializing in Public Relations and Advertising. Also minoring in Graphic Design, I have become pro efficient in computers and have an advanced expertise in Desktop publishing and basic through advanced computer skills.
