I have a BS in Mathematical Biology from U of M Ann Arbor. I held a 3.61 math GPA. I have experience tutoring highschool students in algebra II as well as college students in calculus and statistics. During the last four years I have tutored students in Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus II, and Statistics.

For example, to help a geometry student understand the significance of the area of a prizm, I asked him to consider how much paint he needs to buy if he wants to re-paint his room. A max/min calculus solution can help select the minimum fence length to create the largest yard for a dog. I also try to approach teaching the same concept from several different angles. I love teaching because I love passing on knowledge. I believe anyone can learn anything they want, it just takes us all different lengths of time and effort to achieve our educational goals.
