A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been close to learning. Outside of my (Bachelors of Science, PMP, MBA, EMDT) I have attained, I have attended numerous courses under the umbrella of continuing education such as Using Voice as a Sales tool, Leadership and Communication and How to be an effective tutor. In my 12+ years as a software professional, I mentored a team of developers and educated them on business knowledge about the client, technology and enabled them to become self-sustaining programmers over a period of time. I also conducted training for my clients for new product features. I am currently a volunteer tutor at Tompkins Learning Partners with whom I also attended courses such as effective tutoring, lesson plans and citizenship training.

Education is my passion, for both myself and others. I strive to ensure each individual understands what it is they are trying to achieve; by encouraging the use of endless questions, imagining possible solutions, and ultimately rendering a decision that is clear and concise.
During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients.
