I graduated with a B.S. degree in early childhood education from Iowa State University in 2004. As a result, I have had the chance to substitute teach and tutor in Iowa and California. As a college graduate, I started my teaching career in a catholic elementary school. I taught second grade for a year and first grade for two years.
