A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is on hands on and using lots praise for hard work. I enjoy working with others and seeing them succee. For the visual learner, they need to see things written down for it to stay with you. For the auditory learner, they hear sounds distinctly and can easily remember a song tune or lyrics; and for the kinesthetic learner, they like to learn by moving and possibly acting out things. I would have to find the persons style of learning and then apply which learning technique is most appropriate.
I have experience in teaching others and have completed an internship grades k-4th when in College. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved teaching, whether its adults or children. Everyone has their own learning style and teachers need to be able to adapt teaching methods to help all succeed. My personality is very driven, outgoing, yet very patient and understanding. My goal when presenting curriculum based school programs is that the students all leave with at least one idea that they will remember and share with others.
Prior to changing my undergraduate major to Geography, I was an elementary education major. I have always enjoyed working with students; however, at the time I wanted to try something different and is how I ended up working as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service (NPS).
