A Little Bit About Me...

I have a passion with working with youth at risk, and adolescents with behavioral and emotional problems in a residential treatment setting of 6 years. I have been a teachers aide working with this type population in a self structure educational atmosphere.Prior to going off to college I have tutored children in my neighborhood and summer camps in math, science, english etc. I earned a BA in Social Work from Livingstone College and a MA in Counseling from Webster University. As a classroom teacher often facing as many as 37 students at one time, it was difficult to provide the appropriate learning environment for many of these children's needs.
