I have more than 6 years of work experience in 3 different multinational software industries, which made me proficient in C++ programming, standard template library(STL) and data structures. I have always been driven to achieve a high level of excellence in everything I do. As a college student, I tutored many of my friends and peers for free. I have tutored several children since graduating college for free as well, and have always enjoyed helping others learn and understand new things.
I love children of all ages. I am very patient and laid back. I am kind, and considerate of others. My goal would be to help the child learn and understand, while making the experience a fun and rewarding one. I believe everyone has the ability to do whatever they strive for. I had a teacher in my youth that made such a huge impact in my life, and I have always wanted to repay that favor to other children. As a student at Georgetown College, majoring in El. Ed., I student taught in the 1st grade. My supervising teacher said I excelled in reading, and should pursue that area. I have taught 1st-4th grades, and tutored in elementary. I also minored in piano. I have given private piano lessons and done one-on-one tutoring with children and adults. I have a B.A. degree,a minor in Sociology and piano. I have many years of volunteering with children and adults. I enjoy working with children and beginners in both areas.
