I enjoy learning and think of my education as a continual process. In my experiences, I have gained a wide range of skills encompassing leadership, peer training, and interpersonal communication. I have earned a BA in Communication, completed a graduate level Leadership program, studied in Spain and most recently, I traveled extensively in Peru. In my previous career as a sales representative in Telecommunications, I was quickly promoted to a leadership/project management position in which I was responsible for training my colleagues on a new portion of the business. I believe that every student learns differently. I enjoy working one-on-one with students to give them an explanation that is meaningful to them. I have had a deep interest in helping people since I was a young child. Seeing someone succeed because of my help is one of the greatest motivators for me, especially when it's "against the odds". As a college student I tutored the students who really wanted to learn but couldn't through no fault of their own--those with learning disabilities and non-native English speakers.
