My approach to teaching others is a holistic one. I believe each students learns at his or her own pace, based on individual interest levels. As the parent of Montessori students for many years, I believe each student must be motivated and given opportunities to develop his or her interests from direction provided by a mentor or instructor, then be given the freedom to advance the knowledge base. I think it is a teacher's job to help each student achieve their potential by providing a positive learning experience which also involves the parent.

By the time that I have spent a short time with my students, they know that I care for them and want them to be the best that they can be; they know that I expect good work from them and want each to do his or her best.
