I am a Secondary Education-English major at University of South Carolina Aiken. I am well prepared to help with any English related questions or homework you have. I am on the Dean's List for the university which shows scholastic achievement. I have, or am currently taking, many English, literature, and creative writing classes. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science with focus on the Microsoft languages (C++, C#, ASP, dotNEt, etc.) The requirements for this degree was heavy in math. I do, however, feel better qualified in verbal and writing skills. I also have a minor in Philosophy and Theology. This ties in with my High School and middle school upbringing, having attended a Catholic middle and High school as well as the University I attended being a Baptist school. My full time job (Monday - Friday mornings) is as a programmer, so my technical knowledge is always fresh in my mind.
My tutoring style is somewhat laid-back with serious undertones. I feel the best way to learn is to not have information force fed, but to allow the individual to glean knowledge and come to an understanding of the subject gradually. Thirty-five years in teaching profession as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and teacher again. Worked with all grade levels and subjects in K-8 education. Also tutored during all of my years as educator.
