I have 35 years experience in Bell System Management retiring as Operations Manager of Outstate Georgia. Most of this time was used managing, mentoring and teaching others in day to day operations and in class room settings. I consider myself a facilitator of information more than a teacher. Students must be accountable for their own learning. In math and science, it is important that students know how to apply knowledge rather than merely memorize information. In that regard, it is my job to make sure that students understand the core concepts of the material and then reinforce and encourage them to develop problem solving skills that will help them succeed.
