Teaching to me is about how to engage the student. The material that is prepared for daily lessons can be nothing more than just words to some students. The instructor must become one with the student and understand them on their level. Once you can see eye to eye with your students, then you can begin to help them learn and grow. I truly enjoy teaching. I believe that a child can learn anything, as long as they have a supportive learning environment. I belive that I have a unique teaching style. I am a whole language and phonetic teacher. I like to teach my children using the multiple intelligences, because we all learn in different ways. I love working with children, when they learn something new it still gives me goose bumbs, as a teacher it is important that we focus on all learning styles, because each child learns differently. I am firm and patient. I let the child explore his or her surrodings and let them firgue things out for themselves.
