A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a teacher for nearly 14 years. I have enjoyed elementary school. The children like the way I teach them all their subjects that are needed. Many times I have taken students who have problems with various subjects and them have elevated themselves for a better understanding of the subject they had trouble with. Tutoring I also do in many subjects. I am called in by different agencies to help students who have difficulty with either a subject or others. My comments on tutoring Earth Science : I have been teaching/tutoring earth science on a 1-1 level for the past 5 yrs. I have great affinity for the subject, and with a background in Physics, I use lots of practical problem solving skills, to study the earth and its make up, as well as going beyond and studying Space Science. I have lots of experience in preparing students to take the Earth Science Regents.

My teaching style included using lots of creativity and passion to drive instruction, while focusing on state standards as well as applying creative techniques to make students understand the concepts in math and science. I love to have students involved in the lesson directly, and I use lots of evaluation mechanism.
