My teaching style is to guide the student to find the answers for himself rather than outright giving it away. I try to teach the method of discovery and critical thinking the allows the student to excel. The greatest day of my life was achieving my Bachelors degree in Biological Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. It was an overwhelming sense of gratification to know the many years of hard work, determination and persists paid off. The following are the experiences I had in tutoring students. I tutored chemistry for two years, and really found that I loved helping people achieve their goals. Through experience I have learned that not everyone learns a certain way and by observing each student I’m able to understand what might work best for them. A Little Bit About Me...

I always attempt to explain the beauty of mathematics to my students in hopes that they will develop the same admiration of the logic and order of mathematics and science. My tutoring will generally involve a brief explanation of theory and background, followed by one or two fully worked examples (if applicable). Then exercise problems or homework questions will be worked by the student. I encourage students to memorize the procedure of a solution. However, I always ensure that the student understands why steps are being taken in a given solution, and is not simply blindly following a solution procedure. I always promote a friendly learning environment so that students feel comfortable enough to ask any questions they may have.

In teaching I am basically a generalist and humanist. My background is in mathematics and the sciences, but with a solid foundation in the humanities.
