I currently work at an Elementary School in Andover, KS as a special education paraeducator. I assist in grades Kindergarten - 2nd. I have an elementary teaching degree from Wichita State University. I student taught in 5th grade and 1st grade for Wichita Public Schools. I have worked as a substitute teacher in Andover, KS, and I also worked as a paraeducator for an elementary school in Wichita, KS for several years. I recently completed student teaching requirements for Kansas and will have my degree conveyed shortly. I chose to be a teacher as my second career. I have always wanted to teach and love working with children. I spent 18 years working for full time for the Kansas National guard. I worked in Logistics for 13 years, then I worked as a budget analyst for the KSARNG for 5 years. I am a veteran who has traveled all over.
