My comments on tutoring Algebra I : For the past two years, I have neen serving as a certified tutor for the GED for a local non-profit organization. The subject that I especially enjoy teaching is algebra.

I like to teach at the student's preferred pace. If I feel that they are not comprehending, I will break down the concept and explain in greater detail. Then I will ask them to explain the concept. If I feel that they understand I will work on example problems with them till they can solve problems on their own.
