In the past, I provided education in Mathematics, English and Spanish to freshman, undergraduate students , and children.I also counseled on good studying habits, time management skills and the fundamentals of the particular subject. I have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. I have two and a half years of experience teaching chemistry courses and three years of professional experience in the private industry. I am patience with the students and I encourage them to ask me questions. My philosophy is that each student has a unique way of learning and I help them to find their best way to study.

After I talk to students ,I completely understand how much they understood the subject and help them to complete the missing concepts in their understanding. I believe that teaching styles need to be flexible to the student. I have worked with a very wide variety of students, from the severely limited autistic youth to the highly gifted medical student. While approach and focus might vary for the individual or subject matter the essence remains the same. I try to envision at least 3 different ways of approaching a problem, I discuss material but let the students ask questions which I then tailor my explanations toward. Everyone sees a problem slightly differently and if you allow yourself an open mind and creative thinking often you can help them break through a difficult problem because you are able to see it their way.
