Hands on- creative-student centered learning!

I think that a lot of learning happens by students being actively engaged in what they are learning. I try to get/make hands on activities for students to learn.

Creating Confident Students via Creative Learning

I have assisted students with tutoring for most of my life. My mother has worked as a teacher since I was born. I have a broad spectrum in technical and creative skills when working with students. I worked as the Geology Tutor at UNC Asheville. I have worked as a tutor for K-5 students at Hall Fletcher Elementary School (also in Asheville, NC). My comments on tutoring Elementary Science : I have studied science ever science elementary schools and have a way of speaking that can simplify moderately challenging concepts.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations.
