As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Early this year, I began tutoring advanced math to middle school kids and found it to be a rejuvenating to see young minds eagerly waiting to be academically challenged.

During my four years at LaGrange College I worked in the Tutoring Lab as a tutor for biology and humanities. After graduation, and before entering medical school, I worked as a tutor for Sylvan Learning Center and worked with students seeking homework support for Algebra and Geometry as well as with other students enrolled in the Math Essentials program.
