Engaging and educating the mind

I like to give the children more hands on material, to try and reach them at their respective level. For adults, I do help them, but try and guide them to figure it out on their own. I have found in my experience that it is better retained when the client thinks through it them selves.
I have worked with children between the ages of 4-10 tutoring in areas like math and spanish. Also, I have helped adults better understand logic course material more fluently at my school NC A&T State University. Held a refresher course for elementary children during summer camps i've worked at for their english. I also like to work with the client and figure out new ways to help them better understand. This has been done through games,relevant age appropriate references, and other means.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : Spanish and Guarani are my native dialects. I also speak some Portuguese and basic English.

I believe that speaking ability should be the primary focus of any language, along with traditional reading and writing skills. So I would decribe my approach as conversation-based. However, I am willing to focus instruction based on the client's desired outcome.
I am a native Spanish speaking criminal and civil trial attorney. I do not have extensive tutorial experience but I am very personable and professional. I legally immigrated from Paraguay to the U.S. in 2009, following my marriage to my husband who is a U.S. military servicemember. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I grew up in Texas surrounded by Spanish, but was not able to really learn it until high school and college when I had a great teachers who made it come alive for me. I went on to get a BA in Spanish and now love making it come alive for others as well. I have experience teaching high school and preschool Spanish, as well as tutoring one-on-one.

My comments on tutoring Spanish : conversational, vocabulary

I like to put my students in situations they would face in their travels whether is business or pleasure and teach them how to manage those situations using the spanish they learn with me. There is a lot of conversation and vocabulary clases before we hit the " field"
I was born in Valencia Venezuela, and lived there until I moved to the United States in the 80's I graduated with a Business Administration Degree and I have worked for bank of America teaching/tutoring executives in conversational spanish and vocabulary before schedule trips overseas. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I am not a Spanish teacher, however I do know how to teach Spanish. I spent a year in Argentina not knowing a word of spanish. I went through a difficult program in which I was taught spanish as a second language and I shared a room with 5 other girls who only spoke spanish. I know how to memorize spanish I know how to study for a spanish test and I can explain the basics of spanish as well as the more complex aspects of spanish to anyone willing to learn. Not only do I know and understand the grammatical aspect of the language but I also understand the different cultures and accents of spanish in different South American countries. My experience is more from life than anything. I graduated from high school in 2011,and I chose to go from there to Argentina where I learned Spanish as a second language as well as studied the bible in a college setting in Spanish.
