Learning Can be Easy and Fun!

I am very patient and I make sure the student thoroughly understands a topic before moving on. I motivate the student to succeed and teach good study skills and test taking skills. Normally, I use the student's textbooks and classroom materials during our lessons. For standardized tests, I use prep books, such as Princeton Review. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been an ESL teacher for 12 years in various school settings. I believe the experiences I have had in the different schools have prepared me to deal with the different situations I have had to face. For example, There have been instances when I have had to teach special education students and this required a special kind of teaching technique. While at other times I have had to teach my ESl students, and my bilingual Spanish skills have come in quite handy.
