My broad-based educational background gives me a firm foundation for interacting with students on a variety of levels. A Little Bit About Me...

Having received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University and the University of California in the area of physical science (Atmospheric Science), I have attained a high level of knowledge in multiple areas ranging from Math and Science (particularly Physics) as well as Chemistry and Biology. In addition, while at Cornell University I earned a Minor in Communications focusing on both Written and Oral Communication. Regarding my abilities as a tutor, at Cornell I was employed as a Teaching Assistant for two upper level courses in the area of physical science. I've been both a research pilot and a captain on a cargo airline.

I believe that understanding statistics is not beyond the grasp of any student. The first step lies in understanding the underlying principles. Once this is grasped, only practice is needed to give the student the degree of confidence needed to solve such problems on a test or homework assignment.
