Never stop pushing yourself to learn

I can teach in any style that suits the student. I am flexible with whatever excels the students learning the most.
I have taught a large array of children and adults, anywhere from a 2nd grader struggling with reading to adult Burmese refugees. I have the patience and flexibility to successfully work with anyone. I started tutoring when I was around the age of 13. I taught a young Korean girl English, where I would have to create my own lesson plans. Anatomy tutor

I have spent a semester teaching anatomy to Lansing Community College students. I learned from this experince how to explain anatomy, and how everything relates to each other. Most of my adult life has been dedicated to helping people strive for and achieve personal and academic success. I have worked in the academic field for approximately 8 years; tutoring at a community college level for 4 years and scoring MEAP tests for 4 years. In addition, I have provided on the job training for individuals needing extra help. At the community college level I headed up study groups for Science classes, creating study guides and practice quizzes. As a Michigan State graduate, I am still very passionate about education, and believe that learning does not stop when you leave the classroom. I have earned a bachelors degree in Dietetics, which included a rigorous science and research based curriculum, as well as ways to improve teaching and counseling techniques.
