As a creative writing major at school, i was an avid member of our newspaper, serving as copy editor. When i graduated college i continued my summer job as a technical writer at an engineering company. My last position was also an assistant technical writer. I earned my BA in elementary education in l987 and was employed by the Woburn Public School system from 1988-1995. I taught grades one,two,four,and six with most of my experience being a first grade teacher. My specialty was teaching reading using a strong phonetic approach.
