The majority of my experience lies within the field of Human Services/Counseling. However, I have substitute taught for about 18 months, elementary level and high school level. In addition, I have tutored foreign languages on a college level for two semesters.
I have always enjoyed teaching. I try to take into consideration the individual's learning style when teaching. The best way to teach someone is to guide them when they come to a road block, rather than to give them the answer. Some children need visual simulation to really ingrain the principle that is trying to be understood. While other's learn by complete repetition.
