I am currently a college sophomore working as a Calculus TA, I'm double majoring in Chemistry and Physics.I am a native Chinese speaker, I have experience teaching students Chinese. I like science and math. I scored 89 on TOEFL, I scored 29 in the writing section. I scored 1850 on SAT, with 700 on math. My science GPA currently is 3.5, I took general chemistry, modern biology, organic chemistry I (currently taking orgo II), physics in math methods and quantum chemistry. I attended a lots of English reciting competition and got the first prize before I came to America, so I have good basics of English speaking, writing, listening and reading. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style varies depending on the age and needs of the student. When I worked with younger children, I often made up a game to help the children learn the material while having fun. Even with older children I tried to make learning interactive and suit their personality. I also varied the amount and type of aid given based on the student’s needs. While I do think learning should be suited to the individual, I do require that the student focus entirely on studying during the tutoring session. I truly enjoy teaching and learning, and I have high expectations for the student's progress.
I graduated summa cum laude from Berea College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. I haven taken many courses in biology and chemistry.
