I am open to all teaching styles, people learn in different ways so the teaching style that helps you this best is the teaching style I will use.
I believe in helping people that need help. So in college I began tutoring and started to do a bunch of community service projects. I have two years in tutoring experience. I've been teaching informally most of my adult life. I earned a 193 out of a possible 200 on a Praxis test that covered content knowledge of my subject area (English literature), and 179 in a comprehensive middle school language arts test, and am enrolled in Capella University, where I'm currently pursuing a master's of science degree in K-12 studies. A Little Bit About Me...

I thoroughly enjoy helping students learn and watching students succeed. Complex subjects such as chemistry can be overwhelming to some students and I believe that the best way to teach these subjects is to give the student a firm understanding of the whole concept and then concentrate on the specifics. Finding a way to relate a concept to a student is key. I find that just having someone there to explain a concept in a way that is easy to understand can change a student's whole perspective on a particular subject or discipline.
