My comments on tutoring Poetry : My undergraduate English capstone course was in poetry. I cannot write it, but I can analyze it and write ABOUT it.

My main goal is to help my students become more confident in their own abilities to learn material, improve skills, and express their ideas. I will not give anyone all the answers, and I will not do all the work for anyone, but I will help anyone to achieve his or her goals by providing the tools for success. I will never simply say that something is incorrect without explaining why. I try to center my students' interests in fun activities to make learning more exciting. If I can turn something into a game, I will!
I graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in English Literary and Cultural Studies and a minor in Spanish. A Little Bit About Me...

After twelve semesters of college and a wide variety of courses, my college experience has left me with quite the education and still more to come. I am a Senior attending the University of Central Oklahoma pursuing a bachelor in Applied Computer Science. I have taken such a wide variety of courses in the previous six years that I have completed the major requirements for a bachelor degree in General Studies as well. A Little Bit About Me...

From early on in my high school career I understood that passing AP tests could mean graduating from college in 3 years, saving money for grad school, and a chance to get into the professional world sooner. That's exactly what I did. I had to take some summer school and intersession classes, but I endured. All the while I was involved with an organization on campus that worked to educate the student body on a number of environmental issues, worked with volunteers on events and campaigns, and trained my peers to take the same leadership that I did.
I am first and foremost a listener. I'm laid back and patient but understand that success on exams and in school does not come to most without hard work and challenging yourself to go out on a limb.
